Maxine L. Johnson, died Oct 7, 2017 at Maplewood Skilled Nursing Facility in Sauk Prairie, WI due to complications of pulmonary fibrosis. She was born in New London, WI on July 14, 1941 to Max and Lillian Hansen. She married Ronald Johnson Feb 17, 1962. They lived most of their married life in Cumberland, WI where they raised their 2 sons, Charles and Curtis. The family enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing and playing cards together. Max was also a passionate gardener.

Maxine is survived by her children, Charles (Susan) Johnson and Curtis (Peggy) Johnson;
Grandchildren, Nathan (Anne), Nicholas (Christine), Justin, Samantha (Torey),
Lucas, Kyle and Bethany; Great grandchildren, Norah, Audrey, Leo, Kaydee, Lily and Jensen.
Significant other Robert Spejcher;
Step mother Iva Hansen.

Preceded in death by her husband, Ronald; parents, brothers: Jan and Noel Hansen and mother and father-in-law, Neiland and Esther.

Visitation and funeral services will both be held at Augustana Lutheran Church in Cumberland on Oct 28. Visitation from 9 - 10:30 am and funeral service at 11 am.
