Merlin Leroy Luher, born on February 3 ^rd ., 1937 in Potosi Wisconsin, passed away on Thursday June 14 ^th ., 2021 at Maplewood Nursing Home in Sauk City at age 84. Merlin enjoyed sports and graduated from Prairie du Sac High School. He continued hunting and fishing with his friends throughout his younger years and became an excellent bowler and golfer over the years. Merlin enjoyed his many years of work at Wisconsin DOT. He was an avid sports fan during his life and enjoyed watching the Packers and Badgers during his retirement and was active at the Lake Wisconsin Country Club.

Merlin was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Joanne and Raecile; his daughters Sherril and Jennifer; and his granddaughter, Alexandra.

He is survived by his son Randall; two step-daughters, Lizette and Mary; four grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life event will be held at the Lake Wisconsin Country Club, N1076 Golf Rd., Prairie du Sac, on Wednesday, August 11th from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm. Lunch will be served at 12:00 noon. Everyone is welcome to attend.
