Michael  John  Barrow,  age  73,  passed  away  peacefully  on  September  21,  2022,  at  Sauk  Prairie  Hospital.  He was born on February 5, 1949, at St. Mary's Ringling Hospital in Baraboo, the son of late  Elijah and Shirley (Stillman) Barrow.

Michael was a specialist for the U.S. Army from February 27, 1969 ‐ February 19, 1971.  He was employed  at Milwaukee Valve for over 30 years as a Marine Assembler, retiring from there in 2014.  He enjoyed  watching sports, fishing off his pier, pontoon rides and golf carting around Crystal Lake where he lived for  over 27 years.  Back in his younger days, he loved shooting pool at the Penguin Bar, playing cards and  anyone that knew Mike would get the saying, "BEAM ME UP SCOTTY".

Michael is survived by his wife, Kathleen "Kathy" Fryman‐Barrow of 27 years; kids, Terry (Jessica) Barrow,  Becky  Barrow‐Byrnes,  Shannan  (Kurt)  Baier,  Jeremy  (Amie)  Brown, and Huston Dittberner.   He  is also  survived by his grandkids; Kursha & Thea Baier, Kaylin (Jeremy) Wilke‐True, Orion, Aiden, Ethan & Owenn  Brown,  and  Rylee  Barrow.    Great  grandkids;  Nevaeh  &  Theodore  Wilke‐True.  Siblings;  Linda  (Gary)  Midthum, Karen (Rick) Armstrong and Terry (Barb) Tabor.

A Celebration of Life will be held at  the VFW in Prairie du Sac on Sunday, October 23rd at 1pm.  Come  gather and share some  favorite memories, stories,  to laugh,  to cry and remember a wonderful person  who will be greatly missed.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Michael's name to the humane society or cancer foundation  of your choice.
