Michael R. Perlewitz, 62, formerly of Belgium, Wisconsin passed away peacefully at his home in Lodi, Wisconsin on December 5, 2015 with his family by his side. He succumbed after a long struggle with Parkinson's disease.

He was born February 8, 1953 in Evergreen, IL to Robert and Betty (Bradley) Perlewitz. On June 14, 1975 he married Barbara Schultz in Glendale, Wisconsin.


Michael is survived by his wife Barbara of 40 years; son Jason, his wife Kelly, their children Sydney and Brandon of Lake Oswego, OR; daughter Katherine, her husband Josh Morgan, and their son Chance of Verona, WI; 5 brothers, 1 sister, and countless nieces, nephews, and extended family. Michael was a loving father, husband, grandfather, and friend.


Michael was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Betty and grandparents Olga and Harry.


Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, Monday, December 7, 2015 at Hooverson Funeral Home, 251 Water Street, Sauk City, WI 53583. A funeral service will immediately follow at 12:00 pm with Reverend Gloria Stubitsch officiating. Burial will follow at Garden Bluff Cemetery in West Point.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation or Wisconsin Parkinson Association.
