Michelle Marie Lapp, at age 58, passed away March 29, 2018  at Maplewood of Sauk Prairie, after a long battle against cancer. She was born in Barron Wisconsin on July 23, 1959  to Reuben and Betty(Nordhagen) Beiswanger. She graduated from Baraboo High School 1977 and continued her education at UW Whitewater, double majoring in both education and special education. She moved to Sauk City a few years later where she was a substitute teacher for several years before switching careers.

She was known for her love of books as well as cats. Michelle is  survived by her two sons, Kyle and Ryan Lapp; her nieces, Casey and Jessie Carignan, and her sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Mark Carignan. She was preceded in death by her mother Betty Jane Beiswanger and her father Reuben Beiswanger.

There will be a private funeral service that will be held 4/7/18.
