Mildred M. Nolden, age 94, died on Thursday, October 15, 2009 at Maplewood of Sauk Prairie. She was born in the town of Prairie du Sac on July 15, 1915, the daughter of the late Henry and Hilda (Erickson) Leister. She was united in marriage to Monroe Nolden on June 3, 1941. Mildred loved cooking, sewing, and being a mother and wife. She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church. She is survived by five children, Maurice (Jackie) Nolden, Richard (Laura) Nolden, Greg (Alice) Nolden, Tom (Rita) Nolden, and Sue (Bill) Matth; daughter-in-law, Mary Nolden; two sisters, Mabel Nolden and Ruth Corrao; 18 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Monroe; a son, Donald; a granddaughter, Carrie; daughter-in-law, Karen; great-grandson, Tobin; and four brothers, Arthur, Harvey, Donald and Floyd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. ALOYSIUS CATHOLIC CHURCH, Sauk City, at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, October 19, 2009 with Fr. Jared Hood officiating. Burial will follow in St. Aloysius Cemetery. Friends may call at HOOVERSON FUNERAL HOME, Sauk City, from 4:00pm until 7:00pm on Sunday, October 18, 2009, and also on Monday morning at the funeral home from 10:30 a.m. until 11:15 a.m.
