Milward W. Jones, age 83, of Arena, passed away October 8, 2025, at Agrace Hospicecare, Fitchburg. He was born on December 9, 1941 in Arena the son of the late Benjamin and Ruth (Cassity) Jones. Milward attended Arena schools graduating in 1959.

He was a US veteran having served in the Army, in the armored division. Milward was employed as a truck driver for many years. He was a Studebaker enthusiast, was an avid hunter and enjoyed boating, he was a high-level Chess player, loved anything involved with puppy dogs and walks with them.

Milward was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and could often be seen wearing the green and gold.

He is survived by his son, Jeremiah and his siblings, Molly, Eileen and Sofia.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and best friend, Benjamin; and his grandson who he was very close to, Christopher.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 11 am Wednesday October 15, 2025, in the Arena Cemetery.
