Nancy J. Brewer, age 60 , passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at Sauk Prairie Memorial Hospital. She was born September 29, 1950 to the late Berdeen and Myrl "Dottie" (Rounds) Sobek. Nancy graduated from Seneca High School in 1968. She married Robert Brewer April 26, 1969. Nancy worked at the Veterans Hospital in Madison as a E.M.G. Technician for 30 years and retired in 2010. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with family and friends at the cabin.


She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Robert, Mazomanie.

Daughter; Tina (Christopher) Gosa, Mazomanie, and son Chad (Jessie) Brewer, Mazomanie.

Siblings; Robert (Marlene) Sobek, DeForest; Ronald (Shelia) Sobek, Boscobel; Teddy (Judy) Sobek, Galesville; and Patty Downing.


She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.


A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at 11:00am at the HOOVERSON FUNERAL HOME, Hwy 14 West, Mazomanie with Pastor Dave Sobek officiating. Friends may call from 4:00 pm until 7:00pm at the HOOVERSON FUNERAL HOME, Wednesday, September 21, 2011 and one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held in the Mazomanie Cemetery.
