Nancy C. Schell Cone, age 59 of Reedsburg, WI passed away October 1, 2024, at Reedsburg Hospital.

She was born March 10, 1965, the daughter of Alfred D. and Gladys A. Schell (Hanusa). Nancy was united in marriage to Chad A. Cone, the love of her life and her main care giver through both battles with cancer.

She worked at numerous jobs over the years but the most recent position she held was a Production Manager at VARC in Reedsburg. This was the job that she cherished the most due to the relationships she developed with her co-workers.

Nancy enjoyed life to the fullest. She loved vacationing, vibrant colors, and encouraged everyone to step outside their comfort zone.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Chad A. Cone; her daughter, Valerie A. Ballweg; son, Kasey K. Ramsey; and daughter, Tasha M. Ramsey; stepchildren, Corina A. Cone, and Logan T. Cone; grandchildren, Harper R. Ballweg, Payton J. Annen, Cameron J. Roth, Caden J. Roth, Bailee S. Acker, and Mackenna K. Acker; mother-in-law, Sue E. Cone; brothers and sisters, Al Schell (Judy), Chuck Schell (Lori), LeRoy Schell (Connie), Rose Acre (Jim), Jeff Schell (Kay), Kathy Carpenter, Linda Mazerek Slotty (Matthew), Jake Bohling (Mark), Angie Mazerek, Bommer Mazerek, and Heidi Nehls; brother-in-law, Charlie C. Cone and many many nieces and nephews.

Nancy was preceded in death by her father, Alfred D Schell, stepfather, Claude P. Mazerek, brother, Michael Schell, nephew, Tyler J Mazerek, niece, Jami S Acre, and brother-in-law, Randy Carpenter.

A celebration of life will be held on October 12, 2024, at the Slotty Farm, S8560 Slotty Road, North Freedom, WI 53951 from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm. A time for sharing will be at 1:00 pm.

To honor Nancy, it will be a festive theme. Please dress in your best Halloween and/or Christmas attire, as those were her favorite holidays.
