Nancy C. Willey, age 86, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at Four Winds Nursing Home in Verona after a nearly 8-year struggle with Alzheimer's and dementia.  She was born Sept. 15, 1938 to the late Joseph and Florence (Worthing) Miller.  She graduated from the Lodi High School; class of 1956.  She was united in marriage to Donald Willey on Jan. 26, 1961; he preceded her in death on Nov. 16, 2001.

Nancy grew up working in her family's grocery business in Dane; and later attended beautician school in downtown Madison returning to Lodi.  After marrying Donald and raising her family, she worked for Traeger's Grocery in Mazomanie and later at the Arena Cheese store, retiring in 2008.  She enjoyed flowers, many trips with her sister Barb and looked forward to red hatter events.  Nancy enjoyed her family events, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was a member of St. Barnabas Catholic Church, Mazomanie.

She is survived by her children, Scott (Anita) Willey, Mark (Lori) Willey, Julie Bailey, Kathy Willey, and Tammy (Andrew Cady) Willey; 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; siblings, Barb Lord, Ronald (Terry) Miller, Dale (Renee) Miller, and Marilyn (Larry) Ziegler; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Tyler Willey; son in-laws, Kent Bailey and Michael McKegney and brother in-law, Ed Lord.

Nancy's family would like to thank Four Winds Nursing Home and Agrace Hospice for their care of Nancy.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 am on Wed. May 21, 2025 at St. Barnabas Catholic Church, 410 Cramer St., Mazomanie with Fr. Christian Valenzuela celebrating mass.  A visitation will be held prior to mass at the Hooverson Funeral Home, 702 Emily Rd., Mazomanie from 9:30 am until 10:45 am.  Interment will be held in the Arena Cemetery.
