Obituary

Nathaniel "Nate" A. Baker, age 33, passed away 10/23/2017. He was born in Grand Prairie TX. Attended Sauk Prairie schools and was a graduate of the class of 2002. He was a proud member of the United States Army.

Nate had so many interests and hobbies. He enjoyed taking road trips on rustic roads, Auto Cross and Ice-Rally racing, gaming, reading and being in nature. He loved his family, including his aunt, uncles, cousins, and their children. He never discounted the younger cousins. They got the same attention that the adults had. Nate always had his tent in his car, he loved to camp.
He recently finished a 3000 mile road trip out west. Nate was trying to drive to every state he could. He loved national forests and parks. His favorite place was the Badlands. When serving in the military he would send pictures of flowers growing in the cracks. He could see and find beauty in everything, everywhere. He had a very strong sense of right and wrong. If you thought he was your friend, you were.
He was employed at Toyota East in Madison.

Survived by his parents, Peter Baker, Katie Aupperle, brother, Ben and Rikki (Mack) Baker; grandparents, Bill and Rose Baker, and Jean Aupperle.
Preceded in death by Grandfather , Dan Aupperle, uncle, Phillip Baker and cousin, Joshua Aupperle.

A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017 from 3:00-7:00 at the VFW, Prairie Du Sac, WI.
