Norbert J. Albrecht, age 92, passed away peacefully at home on October 14, 2018 with his loving wife by his side.  He was born on June 11, 1926, the son of the late Joseph and Anna (Willman) Albrecht.  Norbert was united in marriage to Elaine Heber on September 16, 1950.  He was a U.S. veteran having served in the Army during the Korean War.  Norbert farmed in Wyoming Valley of Wisconsin and was later employed by Bordens Inc. in Madison for 28 years.  In his retirement, he enjoyed  remodeling homes, building custom cabinetry, and fixing almost anything.  In his later years, he enjoyed creating paintings that will be cherished by his family.  Norbert and Elaine enjoyed camping with family as well as with the Yahara Blackhawks and Yellow Thunder "Good Sam" Clubs.  They traveled throughout the U.S. in their motor home and spent many happy winters as snowbirds in Arizona.

Norbert is survived by his wife, Elaine; 6 children, Cynthia, Kevin, Jeffrey, Jerry (Katie), Bruce (Sanae) Albrecht, and Tenley (Bart) Wolf; 10 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren with 2 more on the way.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:30 am on Friday, October 19, 2018 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Sauk City, WI.  A visitation will be held one hour prior to the mass at the church.
