Nyla E. Ganser, age 76, of rural Prairie du Sac passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2010. She was born on April 30, 1934, to Edwin and Ruth (Preuss) Schoephoerster, and lived all but two years of her life on the same farm where she was raised. Nyla married Danny Ganser on December 18, 1952; they were as devoted to each other as two people can be. Nyla is survived by four children, Terry Ganser, Pat (John Strittmatter) Ganser, Edwin (Cherie) Ganser, and Allan (Ginger) Ganser; five grandchildren, Sarah (Ganser) Fosbinder, Tom Ganser, Mike Strittmatter, Dan Strittmatter, and Lexie Ganser; three sisters-in-law, Kathryn (Lawrence) Brechtl, Phyllis (Carleton) Ganser, and Irene (Howard) Frey; and numerous nieces and nephews. Nyla's children would like to invite family members and friends to join us at Prairie Town Hall on Sunday, August 1, any time between 1:00 and 5:00 p.m. for a celebration of Mom's life; a meal will be served until 3:00.
