Oris Dilley, age 79, passed away at his home in Spring Green on Thursday, Aug. 12, 2021 surrounded by his family.  He was born in Steuben, WI on May 12, 1942 to the late Warren and Adelia (Walker) Dilley.  He attended schools in Wauzeka and Boscobel.  He married Ronna Ferrell on Nov. 25, 1961; she preceded him in death on Feb. 21, 1988.  Oris later married Janet Hinrichs on July 28, 1990.  He worked in construction for many years until his retirement.  Oris was a people person and enjoyed time spent with friends, cooking and cookouts with family, John Deere's, fishing, and having a drink with some of his "ol boys".

Oris is survived by his wife, Janet; his children, Scott (Lisa) Dilley, Lori (Mark) Willey, Randy (Tracey) Dilley; Janet's children, Tammy (Tater) Thorson, Brian (Kristy) Strait, Brenda Strait, Darcy (Lisa) Strait; 29 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren; a brother, Leoris Dilley.  He is further survived by many other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents and wife, Ronna; he was preceded in death by a stepson, Danny Strait; grandson, Ryan Dilley; and siblings, Doris Perrin and Moris Dilley.

A visitation will be held for Oris on Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2021 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Hooverson Funeral Home, HWY 14 West, Mazomanie.  A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, Aug. 19, 2021 at 11:00 am with visitation held one hour prior to the service.  Burial will follow in the Arena Cemetery.

Oris's family would like to thank the many friends and family who have helped out and who have visited Oris at home in the last few weeks, including Heartland Hospice and Dr. Timmerman.
