Obituary

Orville E. Ross, age 72, died Thursday, May 28, 2015, at the Monroe Hospital. He was born on October 28, 1942 in Milwaukee, the son of Harry and Doris (Engwall) Ross. For 46 years Orville was an over the road truck driver, a very loving family man and was respected by many. He was an avid hunter and loved farm work. He enjoyed bringing cheer to family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all. Please say a prayer for the family who are enduring his loss.



Orville was married to Judy Noonan in December of 1961 in Mazomanie WI, he was a loving father to two daughters, Eileen Ann Ross, Wendy Ann Halverson and son Kenneth Eugene Ross Sr. Loving Grandfather to Kimberly Ann Ross, Courtney Ann Ross,Christopher Stewart, Ryan John Halverson, Branden Willard Halverson, Kyle Kenneth Ross, Danielle Jean Ross, Justin James Ross and Kenneth Eugene Ross II,

Also a Loving Great Grandfather to Rylan James Halverson, Kaden Williams Halverson, Kiana Lucia Halverson, Braydon LC Eugene Ross, Mason Alan Ross and Jaxson Christopher Ross. Loving Uncle to many nieces and nephews, Arthur Ross Jr., Debbie Ross, Ricky Ross, Katherine Schulenburg , Cynthia Schulenburg, Connie Schulenburg, Robert Amble, Roger Amble, Randy Amble, Anita Amble, Ronald Amble, Rose Esser, William Esser, Paul Ross, Brian Ross; siblings, Gordon Ross, Carol Schulenburg, Ellen Amble, Barbara Esser and David Ross.
and host of great nieces and nephews other relatives and friends. Also a long term friend to Carol Randall.

He was preceded in death by a loving brother, Arthur Ross Sr. , and sister Maureen Ross, nieces Sherry Jo Ross and Rebecca Ross and Nephew Jeffery Schulenburg.


A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at Hooverson Funeral Home, Mazomanie, WI, with Pastor Bill Kapp officiating. Burial will follow in the Arena Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home. After all proceedings a family gathering will be held at the Arena Park. Feel free to bring a dish to pass if you would like.



When outside looking at the Moon & Stars above please remember that Dad will be standing next to you enjoying the view too as this was a special moment that always brought tears & comfort to him.
