Patricia Lee "Pat" Klug, age 68, passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Maplewood of Sauk Prairie. She was born in Hillsboro on August 3, 1945, the daughter of the late Glen O. and Berniece M. (Zimmerlee) Henthorn. She graduated from Wonewoc High School in 1963. She was united in marriage to Ken A. Klug on December 7, 1963. Pat enjoyed operating a daycare and taking care of her family and friends. She was later employed at Maplewood Nursing Home. Pat was an active member of St. James Lutheran Church in Prairie du Sac.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Ken; three children, Kim (Liz Krummel) Klug of Madison, Jim Klug of Massilon, OH and Karen (Mike) Endthoff of Baraboo; 5 grandchildren, Courtney (Ross Packard) Klug, Kaitlin, Kelsey and Jared Endthoff, and Olivia Klug; three great-grandsons, Aiden, Casey and Draven; three sisters, Rita (Ray) Peterson, Peggy Frosch and Kay (Dennis) Asmus; a brother-in-law, John Weger; an aunt, Irene Sampica; nieces, nephews, former co-workers and residents of Maplewood Nursing Home, and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Bob (Jean) Henthorn; sister, Bev Weger; and brother-in-law, Bob Frosch.
A Memorial Service will be held at HOOVERSON FUNERAL HOME, Sauk City, at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, December 17, 2013. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
