Paul F. Breunig

Paul Francis Breunig 84, passed away Thursday May 14th at St Mary's Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

He was born July 6, 1941, to Ewald and Bernita (Bonnie Neumaier) of Roxbury WI. He attended grade school at St Norbert's in Roxbury and graduated from Sauk City High School in 1961. On September 6th, 1969, he married Shirley Pickarts at St Aloysius Catholic Church, Sauk City. They enjoyed 56 years together.

He is survived by his wife Shirley; his children, Theresa (Ted) Hetzel of DeForest and Betty (Bruce) Lauer of Prairie due Sac; his siblings, Michael, Mary (Peter Casey) Breunig, Martha Brunner, Ruth (Phil) Filz. and Pat (Agnes) & brother-in-law, Melvin Pickarts. 

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his brother, Peter, infant sister, Joan & father and mother-in-law, Joseph & Lucille Pickarts.

He grew up and took over the family farm where he worked his entire life. He enjoyed spending time with family. Being outside doing projects on the farm.

A Mass of Christan burial will be held at 11:30 am on Wednesday, May 20th at St Norbert's Catholic Church, Roxbury, WI. Prior to the service visitation will be between 9am to 11:15am at the Hooverson Funeral Home, Sauk, City WI, Burial to take place at the church cemetery.

The family would like to thank and show appreciation and gratitude to Paul's siblings for all their prayers and support and help over the years. Angie Schaaf for all your care & kindness and help you gave to our parents. To Dr Maribeth Baker for all the years as their Dr and the great care you gave. To the staff at St Mary's Hospital.

Dad, we love you and we never forgot what an extraordinary man, husband, father and brother you are. We will miss you greatly. May you continue to plant the corn, cut the hay and drive your mower like a four-wheeler in heaven.
