Obituary

Paul M. Kaiser, age 34, unexpectedly passed away on Friday, April 22nd, 2022. Paul was a creative fabricator with all things. He was employed, and loved, at Badger Fabrication in Sauk City. He was highly regarded for his knowledge, skills, dedication to detail and overall hard work ethics. He was additionally employed by his dear friend at Ben Wankerl Enterprises LLC. Here, Paul and friends worked many landscape projects. He was very proud of the work they took on; the more complicated the better. Paul enjoyed showing off before and after pictures, then sharing the challenges of each project. When not working for others, he did many side projects and specialized fabrication for himself and others.  Paul saw potential in all things. He would take equipment others would throw out, and make it run and function again; many times with his own twist on how to improve it.

Early in life Paul's favorite place on earth was the farm he grew up and worked on. The fever of tractors never left him through his life. Paul shared this love with his two amazing sons, Maverick and Everett. Working on tractors and tractor rides will forever be a strong memory for them both. In addition to all the above, Paul found the calling to be a volunteer Firefighter at Prairie du Sac Fire. The Brothers, and Sisters of the Department enjoyed his sense of humor, willingness to learn, abilities, and of course, his strong work attitude.  Paul was comfortable in dirt, but cleaned up real nice, His charming smile, loud laugh, and kind heart will be terribly missed by this world. We all loved his grin. When someone said, "...it can't be done."  The grin was, "Challenge accepted."

Paul enjoyed rock concerts, camping, fire pit time, cooking, hunting, guns, and farming.  He really enjoyed fabricating something to make each of those more fun, easier, or cool. Paul loved family and close friends. He was not much for crowds, but found his way into many auctions, flea markets, and steam/gas shows. Paul always saw what he could make out of something; he especially loved to get a great bargain. Thank you to all those who loved Paul and offered yourselves to him and our family during all the joys, and in times of need.

Paul was born 9/18/1987 in Dubuque Iowa. He Graduated from Platteville High, then went on to Southwest Tech where he received his welding degree.

Paul is survived by his wife, Candice (Detter) Kaiser and his two sons, Maverick and Everett Kaiser; his parents, Samual (Ellen) Kaiser and Kimeron (Michael) Kutzke; Grandmother Geraldine Swart; siblings Stefanie Jarjue-Kaiser, Jared (Ralph) Kaiser and step-siblings; and nephew Ezekiel Jarjue. He was preceded in death by grandparents Elmer and Dorthy Kaiser, and Richard Swart.
