Paul R. Sprecher, age 72, passed away on September 17, 2017 at St. Mary's Hospital, Madison, WI. He was born in Baraboo, WI on November 20, 1944 the son of the late Roy and Virginia (Rehbein) Sprecher. Paul was united in marriage to Mary Bretsch on August 28, 1965. He was a lifelong farmer enjoyed working the land, hunting, fishing and loved spending time with his grandchildren and attending their activities.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary;
3 children, Steve (Trish), Scott (Denise), Teresa (Wayne) Rider;
grandchildren, Brandon, Melissa, Austin, Sydney, Evelyn and Ava;
Sister, Doris (Nick) Schultz;
special aunt, Florence Sprecher;
and extended family, Sammi, Samantha, Brandon, Coleton; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.


A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, September 22, 2017 at Bethlehem United Methodist Church, Black Hawk. A visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Thursday September 21, 2017, at the church and also on on Friday from 10:00 am until the time of the service.
