Paula G. Ripp, age 90, passed away March 23, 2017 at The Pines in Prairie du Sac. She was born August 5, 1926 in Neusattl, Czechoslovakia, the daughter of Josef and Maria (Stowasser) Kraml. She was united in marriage to Adolf Exner on August 26, 1948, he preceded her in death on September 11, 1985. She later married Martin Ripp on June 13, 1987, he preceded her in death on February 5, 2007.

Paula immigrated in May, 1952, coming to the Blue Mounds area from Aigen, Germany. She and Adolf moved to Fitchburg to work at Bowman Dairy. She later was employed by St. Mary's Hospital, Madison.

She is survived by a sister, Melanie Ameely, of Germany; niece's, Melanie Kepa'a, U'ilani Souza; nephew, John Robertson; cousins, Gerlinde Dworshak, and Elisabeth Hawkinson; step-daughter JoAnne (Steve) Johnson, Step-sons, Gregory( Mary) Ripp, Bernard (Cindy) Ripp and step-daughter Margaret (David) Collins, 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Also included very good friends, Mary and Bill Murray, their children Joe and Sophie Kurth and Jean and Tim Gavin.

She was preceded in death by Hildegard Robertson, sister, Bernadette, step-daughter.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on March 27, 2017, 11:00 at St. Barnabas Catholic Church, Mazomanie, WI. Visitation will be held from 10 – 11 on Monday, in Holy Family Hall at St. Barnabas.

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be given to The Pines in Prairie du Sac in honor of Paula.
