Obituary

Paulette Ann Timm, age 69, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at her home in Mazomanie. She was born January 24, 1939 in Beaver Dam, the daughter of the late Donovan and Dorothy (Sturm) Lindloff. She was united in marriage to Nathan Timm on June 8, 1967. Paulette was a respected teacher from pre-school through middle school. She taught in Arizona, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Istanbul, Turkey. She finished her career as a reading specialist in Mount Horeb. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Mazomanie and a member of the WELCA Women's Group. She was a founding member of the West Dane County League of Women Voters. Paulette loved to travel, visiting many countries and all of the states except Hawaii. Her greatest joy was a six week trip by car to Alaska. She had a great passion for the natural world, enjoying watching birds and animals. She is survived by her husband, Nathan Timm of Mazomanie; her son, Sean (Kay) Timm of Plainfield; a sister, Dawn (Art) Shegonee of McFarland; a brother, Jack (Gerri) Lindloff of Prescott, AZ; 4 nephews, Mark, Troy and Aaron Lindloff, and Shane Hughs; 2 nieces, Maral Shegonee and Heidi Vandenburg; 2 great-nieces, Nicole and Emily Vandenburg; a great-nephew, Frankie Vandenburg; uncle, Edward Sturm of Milwaukee; aunt, Carol (Maurice) Harari of Palo Alto, CA; other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held at ST. JOHN'S LUTHERAN CHURCH, Mazomanie, at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 27, 2008 with Pastor Rob Nelson officiating. A visitation will be held in the church educational building from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. A luncheon will follow the service before burial in Union Cemetery, Waushara County.
