Pearl M. Davis, age 79, died on Monday, October 15, 2012 at Sauk Prairie Memorial Hospital. She was born in Roxbury on February 5, 1933, the daughter of the late John and Irene (Breunig) Schwartz. Pearl was employed by the Sauk Prairie School District for 24 years and was one of the original City of Madison Police Meter Maids. She was united in marriage to Gordon Davis for 32 years.


She is survived by her husband, Gordon; a daughter, Debbie (David) Kratochwill of Middleton; granddaughter, Katie Nash of Madison; grandson, John (Valerie Rung) Kratochwill of Denver, CO; step-son, David Davis; step-daughter, Julie Davis; two sisters, her twin, Polly Nachreiner and Marcie (LeRoy) Acker; two brothers, Clem (Mary Ann Schwartz and Gerard Schwartz; two sisters-in-law, Nancy Schwartz and Marie Schwartz; other relatives and friends.


In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jim and Hubert; and a brother-in-law, Ralph Nachreiner.


A visitation will be held at HOOVERSON FUNERAL HOME, 251 Water St., Sauk City, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 20, 2012, followed by a private family service.
