Penny Jenett Hall, age 69, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at her home in Sauk City. She was born in Madison on February 23, 1946 to the late Claire Lester and Inice (Wilcox) Heintz. Penny graduated from Sauk Prairie High School class of 1964 and attended University of Wisconsin Madison's School of Music. She was united in marriage to Charles E. "Chuck" Hall on January 25, 1969; he preceded her in death on February 15, 2014. Penny had a passion for music and served as organist at First Presbyterian Church in Prairie du Sac, First United Church of Christ in Sauk City, St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Sauk City and St. Luke's Catholic Church in Plain. She sang and played in Dei Madchen, a Women's Octet, the Madison Diocesan Choir. As an accomplished organist and pianist; Penny played for numerous special occasions and touched many people with her music. Penny was an accomplished quilter, enjoyed sewing, and time spent with her grand-daughters.

She is survived by her son, Charlie (Julie) Hall of Merrimac; daughter, Susie (Will) Frey of Edgewater, CO. and their two daughters, Clara and Sylvie Frey; her brother, Nick (Kathy) Lester; nephew Craig Lester, and niece, Karen (Brian) Moser; sister in-law, Mary (Bob) Tallitsch; and nephew, Steven Tallitsch and niece, Molly (Stephen) Young; and her canine companion Bud.
In addition to her parents and husband, Chuck; she was preceded in death by her step-dad, Leo Heintz; and her father and mother in-law, Earl and Helen Hall.

A Memorial Service will be held at ST. JOHN'S LUTHERAN CHURCH, 100 Oak St., Prairie du Sac, at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2015. A visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Private burial will be held. A memorial fund will be established in Penny's name.
