Perry Grant Thomas, age 59, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Poynette on Thurs. June 16, 2016. He was born in Madison on Jan. 21, 1957 to the late Claude and Betty (Connelly) Thomas. Perry graduated Sauk Prairie High School, class of 1976. He was a free spirited traveler, eventually settling in Kentucky where he developed a love of horses, woodworking and building cabinetry. Perry returned to Wisconsin to be closer to family after an accident in 2003. He looked forward to roadtrips, spending time with his family and friends, cheering on the Packers, watching movies, being outdoors and working in the yard.

Perry is survived by his siblings, Billie (Sandy) Thomas of Portage, Gail (Rocco) Sylvester of Merrimac, Bonita "Bunny" (Anthony) McMillan of Iowa City, IA; sister in-law, Janet Thomas; his beloved K-9 companion, Cheeto; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Davey, Eric, and Stevie.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Fri., June 24, 2016 at Hooverson Funeral Home, 251 Water St., Sauk City, WI. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until the time of service. A private interment will be held at Roselawn Cemetery, Madison.
