Randall S. Wendt, passed away in the comfort of his own home on Saturday, May 4, 2024 with his loving wife by his side.   He was born Feb. 16, 1949 to the late Walter and Dorothy (Huerth) Wendt.  Randy was a graduate of Sauk Prairie High School in 1967.  Following High School Randy served in United States Navy from 1968 until 1972; he served 3 tours aboard the aircraft carrier USS Oriskany during the Vietnam War.  He was united in marriage to Audrey Nolden on April 3, 1971; recently celebrating 53 years together.  Randy drove milk truck for many years and worked alongside his dad at Wendt Building Supply.

Randy is survived by his wife, Audrey; their two children, Troy of Prairie du Sac and Tara (Dan) Greenwood of Baraboo.

Randy's family would like to express their sincerest appreciation and gratitude to SSM Hospice for their amazing care of Randy.  He will be dearly missed by his loving family.

As per Randy's wishes, a visitation will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2024 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Hooverson Funeral Home, 251 Water St., Sauk City.
