Obituary

Raymond Francis Feiner, age 84, passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2009. He was born in Franklin Township on June 5, 1925, the son of the late Rudolph and Mame (Ederer) Feiner. He married Loretta Koehl on April 12, 1947. Ray farmed in Troy Township for many years and later worked as a truck driver for Alkar of Lodi. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during World War II.

He is survived by his wife, Loretta of Prairie du Sac; three children, Kathleen (Gary) Wehrle of Fennimore, Pat (Teri) Feiner of Prairie du Sac, Karen (Mark) Tyler of Sauk City; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a brother, John (Vera) Feiner of Sauk City; other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence, a sister, Mildred Laubmeier and a daughter-in-law, Gloria Feiner.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. LUKE'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, Plain at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2009 with Fr. Michael Resop officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery, with military rites conducted by Lachmund-Cramer V.F.W. Post 7694. Friends may call from 10:30 AM until time of the mass at the church.
