Raymond J. Koci, age 77, died on Monday, January 16, 2012 at Agrace HospiceCare in Madison. He was born on April 14, 1934 in Phillips, WI, the son of the late John and Alma (Balaty) Koci. Raymond enjoyed travel, culture, nature, geology, volunteering at Devils Lake, and spending time with his companion, Virginia Zwickey.


He is survived by three children, John (Kristi) Koci of Madison, Susan (Tom) Bender of Cottage Grove, and Paul (Jill Horton) Koci of LaValle; three grandchildren, Robert, Mikail, and Elliott; a brother, Eugene (Mary Ann) Koci of Eau Claire.


A Celebration of Life will be held on May 19, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Devil's Lake State Park, South Shore Red Oak Shelter. A luncheon will be served about 12:00 noon with a program to follow. We invite you to come and bring stories, photos and memories to share.
