Richard "Blue" A. Larsen of Portage and formerly of Mazomanie, age 73, passed away peacefully at home Friday, Nov. 10, 2023.  He was born May 21, 1950 to Reuben and Lillian (Stammen) Larsen.  He was a graduate of McFarland High School; class of 1968.  He was united in marriage to Madonna Fisher on Sept. 3, 1988.  Rick enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and spending time with Madonna.  He had a love of animals, writing and reading poems, and could often be found on his computer playing video games.

Rick is survived by Madonna; his children, Christopher (Autumn); David and his son, Addison; and stepson Sean, and Jay (Judy) Root and their daughter, Alicia. Rick is further survived by his siblings, Sharon (Ron) Crocet, Carol Reidner, Diane Powers, Tim Larsen, Lisa Pobjoy, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his brothers, Robert, Harold and William "Bill".

A visitation will be held from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm on Monday, Nov. 27, 2023 at Hooverson Funeral Home, 251 Water St., Sauk City, WI.
