Richard Lane Mickelson, (Dick) was born to Mary Lou Lubcke and Rodger Mickelson on July 30, 1946. He graduated from Wisconsin Heights High School and proudly served his country in the Navy during Vietnam. He worked as a custodian for the Wisconsin Heights School District until he retired.

Dick lost many loved ones during his lifetime and leaves many loved ones behind with his passing. He lived his life simply and loved being a jokester and making people laugh, going to Ho Chunk, and having a couple of beers while sitting at the kitchen table. Most of all he loved his family and friends.

On his behalf his family would like to take the opportunity to thank all of the wonderful staff at Greenway Manor nursing home for taking such wonderful care of him during his final months and Agrace Hospice Care for all of their amazing care during his final days.

Per his wishes there will be no services. However, a celebration of life will be held at a later date and time
