Rita E. (Clark) Mills, age 74, passed away on Saturday, July 23rd, 2022, at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse.  After an extended illness, she passed peacefully with her family by her side.

She was born July 3, 1948, in Madison, the daughter to the late Mike and Liz (Davis) Clark. Rita was a 1966 graduate of Lodi High School.  She had a variety of interests including gardening, fishing, traveling and being with family, but especially spending time with her grandchildren. On May 10th, 2002, she was united in marriage to the late Burton Mills.

Rita is survived by her daughter, Jodi (Kris) Konkol of Deforest; her two grandchildren, Peyton, and Casey; her siblings, Michael (Chris) Clark, Joe (Julie) Clark and Wendy (Dave) Wills; her stepdaughters Jennifer (Jim) Parsons; Tanya (Bill) Edmundson; and their children, Blake, Garrett, Grace, Lauren, and Brady.

Rita was preceded in death by husband Burton "Chainsaw" Mills, September 29th, 2021; her parents; and sister Becky (Clark) Blakesley.   Family would like to extend a special thank you to Gundersen Lutheran Medical ICU for taking such loving care for Rita.

A Private service for Rita will be held for family at Garden Bluff on Saturday, July 30th, 2022.
