Robert A. Bonjour, age 83, died on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at Maplewood of Sauk Prairie. He was born in Rockford, IL on March 31, 1931, the son of Allen and Margaret (Davis) Bonjour. He was united in marriage to Lou Ann Mack at St. Norbert's Catholic Church, Roxbury, on September 12, 1953.

Bob was employed as a heavy equipment operator with Local #139, enjoyed farming and also founded Sauk Prairie Warehouse and Storage. He also enjoyed 4-wheeling, playing cards, his grandchildren, traveling and spending time on Nelson Lake in Hayward.


He is survived by his wife, Lou Ann; six children, Robert W. (Linda), David (Jo), Sandy (Bob) Johnson, Dianne (Herb) Raschka, Karen (Jeff) Loomans and Rich; 12 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; a brother, Roger (Priscilla); other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Margie Truitt.


A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. NORBERT'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, Roxbury, at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 1, 2014. Burial will follow in St. Norbert's Cemetery. A visitation will be held at HOOVERSON FUNERAL HOME, Sauk City, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 30, 2014.
