Robert B. Eveland

Robert Eveland, age 96, of Mazomanie left this earth on Saturday, March 28, 2026 surrounded by his loving family. He was born and raised on a farm in the Brigham Township, north of Barneveld. He graduated from Barneveld High School, married the love of his life, Patricia Jean Rogers and worked for the University of Wisconsin-Madison Physical Plant for 45 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, the Milwaukee Braves and Brewers, the Packers and all UW sports teams. He was a wonderful father and grandfather. Each of his grandchildren is left with amazing memories of times spent with “Papa”.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia; parents James and Lillian; brothers, James, John and Louis; sisters, Lucy Wirth and Jemima Roberts; an infant daughter, Patty Sue; and son-in-law, Dwight “Ike” Dupee.

He is survived by his children; Robert (Debra), Candix (Sam) Yanes, David (Linda), Sue Dupee, Amy (Bret) Schultz and Pam (Doug) Gunderman; eleven grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.

Robert’s family would like to thank the staffs of Sauk-Prairie Hospital, Maplewood of Sauk-Prairie and St. Croix Hospice for the care extended to Robert during his final days.

A private family service will be held.
