Robert "Rob" Schultz
Rob passed peacefully at his home, surrounded by his beloved family on November 6th, 2021. He was born in Darlington, WI on October 29th, 1963 the son of Bob and Jan Schultz. Rob attended Darlington High School and graduated in 1982.
Rob and Mary Lou began their life together as one on January 28th, 1994 and were united in marriage on January, 28th, 2005. Rob "Bert" was employed with Sani-Matic and had many coworkers who became family to him.
Rob was a true American patriot who spent his life enjoying the outdoors hunting, offroading, hiking, golfing and could frequently be found fishing his favorite spots on Lake Wisconsin with his favorite fishing partner Mary Lou while enjoying a piece of cake.
Rob is survived by his loving wife Mary Lou, daughter Elisha (Tony Koppen), son Matthis and Desi Schultz. Rob is also survived by his big sister Amy. Rob also leaves behind his beloved cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Rob and Mary Lou had many fur babies over the years leaving behind Cooper, Ozzy and Dewey. Rob is preceded in his death by his parents Robert E. Schultz (Bob) and Janice (Jan) Schultz, mother-in-law Patsy Gille,uncle Roger Schultz, aunt Rebecca Buttel, sister-in-law Lauri Erickson, and several good friends.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 13th from 10:00am-1:00pm followed by a memorial service at 1:00pm at Hooverson Funeral Home, Sauk City, WI. We ask that in Robs honor you wear your camo or comfy attire. In lieu of flowers the family would like you to plant a tree in his remembrance.
We know Rob will continue his search for Sasquatch while in heaven.
Let us not cry for the things undone but smile and cherish the things we have done.
A very special thank you goes out to the Cancer Institute of America in Zion, Illinois and Agrace Hospice in Fitchburg.
