Robert E. Tadder Sr., age 76, died on Thursday, March18, 2010 at his residence. He was born on April 17, 1933 in Woodstock, IL, the son of the late Louis and Arlie (Freitag) Tadder. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during the Korean Conflict, and was a proud member of the V.F.W. He was united in marriage to Margaret Lederman on May 11, 1957 in Warrenville, IL. Bob retired after being employed by ATT for 40 years. The couple built their retirement home in Merrimac in 1998, where Bob enjoyed fishing on Lake Wisconsin.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret, of Merrimac; 5 children, Robert Jr. of Montgomery, IL, Janice of Yorkville, IL, Jeffrey (Holly) of Oswego, IL, Richard (Amanda) of Flagstaff, Arizona, and Lisa (Jeffrey) Double of Barberton, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Samantha, Michelle, Nichole and Jacob Hajek; Lukas and Logan Tadder; Hawkins and Brenna Tadder; a brother, Raymond of Carpenterville, IL; a sister, Glenna (Charles) Nila of Aurora, IL; other relatives and friends.
A memorial service was held at HOOVERSON FUNERAL HOME, Sauk City, on Monday, March 22, 2010.
