Robert "Pee Wee" J. Boehmer, age 85, passed away Dec. 9, 2024 at the Pines Assisted Living in Prairie du Sac.  He was born in Baraboo on Oct. 25, 1939 to the late Arthur and Harriet (Conger) Boehmer.  He was united in marriage to Judy Crapser on Feb. 10, 1973; she preceded him in death on Apr. 16, 2018.

Bob served in the United State Army from 1959 until 1965 and was a proud lifetime member of the American Legion.  He was employed at the Badger Army Ammunition Plant in the Power House, Lake Wisconsin Country Club as grounds maintenance and St. Mary's Hospital in the maintenance department where he retired from in 2004.

He is survived by his sisters, Marion (Sister Cecile) and Joan Boehmer, brother Paul (Sally) Boehmer; sister in-law, Marilyn (Vic) Pape, Connie (Ron) Alt, Cathy (Dean) Salveson, Cathy Crapser; several nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents and wife, Judy he was preceded in death by brother John, sisters Shirley Paepke, Donna Rimmey and brother in-law, Pat Crapser.

Bob's family is eternally grateful for the personal and compassionate care received from the staff at the Pines in Prairie du Sac, Agrace Hospice, and to all the special visitors who made him laugh.

An interment for Bob will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, Dec. 13, 2024 at St. Aloysius Cemetery with Military Honors Accorded by the Kuoni Reuter American Legion Post and Lachmund Cramer VFW Post.
