Robert Henry Zick, age 32, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2014 in a hunting accident near Opsala, Ontario Canada. He was born on August 26, 1981 in Baraboo to Donald R. and Karen C. (Roder) Zick. Robert graduated from Sauk Prairie High School in 1999 and graduated from the University of Wisconsin Short Course School of Agriculture in Madison in 2000. He enjoyed growing up in the Denzer area and worked for Raschein Farms for over 11 years. Robert had a passion for the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his girls, and Becky and the boys.

He is survived by his parents, Don and Karen of Denzer; his three daughters, Emma, Natalie, and Aubrey; fiancé, Becky Wipperfurth-Zick; a brother, Roland Zick; a sister, Roxanne (Dan) Small; his best friend and brother, Randy Zick; a foreign exchange brother, Soren Malling of Denmark; stepsons, Seth, Simon, and Lucas Patterson; nieces and nephews, Brandon, Brandi and Brett Zick, Jordan, Megan, and Noelle Small, and Autum Scheel. He is further survived by other relatives and many friends. Robert was preceded in death by a brother Peter Scheel.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 100 Oak St. Prairie du Sac. A visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at the church and also on Thursday, one hour prior to the service. Private interment will be held at a later date in the Denzer Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established for his children.
