IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Roberta "Robbie"
Ann Hager
March 19, 1962 – June 21, 2025
Roberta "Robbie" Ann Hager, age 63, of North Freedom, WI, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2025, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous three-year battle with cancer.
Born on March 19, 1962, to Florian and Darlene (Bender) Grauvogl, Robbie was raised with a deep love for life, family, and the outdoors. She graduated from Sauk Prairie High School in 1980 and married the love of her life, Randy Hager, on May 23, 1981. Over the course of their 44 years together, they built a beautiful life filled with adventure, love, and unwavering dedication to one another.
Together, they founded R&R Repair, which began as a small operation in their garage. With determination, hard work, and mutual belief in each other, they grew it into a thriving business built on trust, dedication, and exceptional service—a true testament to their shared vision. Robbie was also deeply devoted to her community, serving as treasurer for the Honey Creek Town Hall for over 20 years. Her career in the plumbing industry spanned four decades, most recently with Titan Plumbing, where she built a cherished partnership and friendship with Dwight Anderson.
A true lover of the outdoors, Robbie found joy in four-wheeling, camping, scenic drives, and traveling—especially cherished trips to Florida with her sister and family. Weekend Mustang rides with Randy and sipping Bloody Mary's with friends were simple pleasures that brought her endless happiness. In recent years, she became affectionately known as "the Cat Lady" for her deep affection toward the many kittens of Denzer, particularly her beloved companions Watson, Tux, Marble, and Sylvee, who stayed lovingly by her side until the end. Robbie's greatest joy in life was her grandchildren. She never missed a chance to create and preserve those memories through her beloved scrapbooks. She found peace in her garden, where she surrounded herself with the beauty of flowers and plants on her patio—a true place of reflection and comfort.
Robbie is survived by her devoted husband of 44 years, Randy; their children, Ryan (Chelsey) Hager and Rebecca (Kurt) Hellenbrand; and her five adored grandchildren: Matthew, Kaleb, Remi, Rylee, and Kinze. She is also survived by her sister, Vicki (Darrell) Lins, and many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Florian and Darlene Grauvogl; her brother, Jim Grauvogl; her sister, Patricia Grauvogl; her in-laws, Edward and Evelyn Hager; and brothers-in-law Dale Hager, Richard Hager, Donny Hager, and nephew Danny Hager.
The family extends their heartfelt thanks to Agrace Hospice and the Carbone Cancer Center for their compassionate care during Robbie's journey. A special thank you goes to Dr. Campbell, whose trust, warmth, and sense of humor brought immense comfort to Robbie and her family. Robbie lived a life rich in love, laughter, and purpose. Her strength, kindness, and adventurous spirit leave a legacy that will continue to inspire all who knew her. She will be missed beyond measure.
A Visitation will be held at Hooverson Funeral Home, 251 Water St., Sauk City, from 3pm until 6pm on Friday June 27, 2025. A celebration of life will be held at Honey Creek Town Hall, E8712 County Road C, North Freedom following the Visitation.
