Ronald "Ron" Leo Schonenberger, age 69, passed away at St. Clare Hospital in Barbaoo on Saturday, May 27, 2023.   He was born Feb. 10,1954 to the late Leo and Janet Schonenberger.  Ron grew up and attended schools in Sauk Prairie.  He worked various jobs in construction and concrete, later working at McFarlane's until he retired.  Ron loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing, his garden and tractor pulling.

He is survived by his longtime love, Dorie Callen; his children, Clint (Jill) Schonenberger and their children, Chesney and Malea; Jamie Kruse and her children, Payton and Parker.  Dorie's grandchildren, Jacob (Celia) Berger and his daughter Geneva; Jasmine (Xavier) Berger and her children, Archie, Ava and Annie.  Ron's brothers, Larry and David.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jack; and Dorie's daughter, Kellie Berger.

A Celebration of Ron's Life will be held on Sunday, June 25, 2023 from 1:00 pm until 3:00pm at the Lachmund Cramer VFW 7694, VFW Dr. Prairie du Sac, WI 53578.
