Ronald J. Roth, age 72, died February 25, 2015 at Maplewood of Sauk Prairie. He was born on February 6, 1943, the son of Alois and Helen (Ballweg) Roth. He was united in marriage to Ella Ballweg on May 4, 1965. Ron enjoyed his John Deere Tractors, polka music and listening to music by Don Peachy.


He is survived by his wife, Ella; two children, Karie Ramsey and Ryan (Jen) Roth;
5 grandchildren, Dakota, Mason, Riley, Cameron and Caden; six siblings, Janice (Marcel) Meinholz, Barb Hellenbrand, Dan (Sharon) Roth, Joanie (Mike) Ripp, Jim (Sharon) Roth, Laure (Terry) Thornton.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Mary Kay, one brother Richard and a sister, Mary.


A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 am on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Sauk City, with Father John Blewett officiating. A visitation will be held from 4 pm until 7 pm on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at Hooverson Funeral Home, Sauk City and also on Wednesday from 10:30 am until 11:15 am at the funeral home. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
