Rose B. Paar, age 104, died February 26, 2008 at Lodi Good Samaritan Center. She was born On August 26, 1903 in the town of Dane, the daughter of William and Elizabeth (Engels) Wipperfurth. She was the second oldest of 12 children. She married Lawrence Paar on October 2. 1928 in Dane, WI and they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on October 2, 1978. They farmed side by side on the family farm where they raised there 6 children until they retired to Prairie du Sac in 1963. Rose's passion in life was her devotion to family and deep commitment to her religion and she found deep satisfaction in a hard days work.

She was preceded in death by her husband, 2 grandchildren, Shelly Ballweg, and Jeff Endres and her 11 Brothers and Sisters.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday February 29, 2008 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Sauk City, WI, with Father Miguel Galvez officiating. Burial will be in the St. Aloysius Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday , from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass at the church. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Lodi Good Samaritan Home for the loving and compassionate care given to our Mother, in making her feel this was truly her home.
