Obituary

Rosella Jeanette (Froh) Borman, age 94, passed away on February 14, 2023. She was born at St. Francis, Milwaukee, WI, Sept 17, 1928. She graduated high school from Edgewood Academy Madison in 1946 and worked for UW Madison for 5 years before marrying Mike Borman on May 20 th , 1950. Shortly after Mike went into service for the Navy. Janet worked at Badger Ordinance ammunition plant near Baraboo as a secretary. After Mike was discharged from the Navy, their first home was in Madison where Mike attended the UW for electrical engineering.

They moved to Berwyn in Chicago when Mike accepted a position with Western Electric. Mike continued to work for Western Electric (AT&T) for 30 years during which time he was transferred frequently, and they moved often. Her favorite home over the years was the 5-acre farm with horses outside Saukville, WI. Jeanette was preceded in death by 9 siblings from Arthur and Mable Froh. They were a close-knit family who had a lot of fun gatherings throughout her life. She lived in Hong Kong for 9 months during Mikes consultant work for AT&T.

They managed to visit China, Singapore, Malaysia, Bangkok, Taiwan, Korea, Japan while there. Once retired, Mike and Janet bought a mobile home in Crystal Lake, WI and a winter home in Florida and travelled as snowbirds for 15 years. Their favorite visits were to the holy land in Israel 3 times. After Mike had a stroke, they spent the last years of their life in Mazomanie, WI. Mom worked hard with Dad over the years improving and updating the homes where they lived.

Mom loved family and was always passionate about her children and their lives. Mom always said she had a happy life full of fun and laughs, even with all the hard times faced with moving often.

She is survived by four sons and one daughter, Patrick, Colleen Konicek (Paul), Kevin (Sandy), Sean and Michael Jr. (Ruth) with 5 grandchildren, Amanda Ballard (Charlie), Victoria Klass (Aaron), Andrew (Mercedes), John, Sophie and 2 great grandchildren, Rose (Alex) and Zaiden.

A funeral mass will be held at 11am on June 10, 2023 at St. Barnabas Catholic Church, Mazomanie. Visitation will be held from 9 am until the time of the Mass at the church.
