Russell R. Wilkinson, age 91, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at Agrace Hospice Care in Madison. He was born at home in Arena on April 26, 1924 to the late John and Priscilla (Poquette) Wilkinson. Russ graduated from Arena High School and farmed on the family farm on Knight Hollow Road. He later worked for Wick Buildings for 25 years retiring in 1991. He enjoyed deer hunting, spending time in the woods, and with his neighbors and their children.
He is survived by his neighbors and special friends, Daniel and Margery Neumaier and their children; several nephews, nieces and other relatives.
As per Russ's wishes, a private graveside service will be held at the Arena Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Agrace Hospice in Russ's name, in thanks for the wonderful care they gave him.
