Obituary
Ruth G. Hager, age 89, died on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Maplewood of Sauk Prairie. She was born in Keyser, WI on April 29, 1924, the daughter of the late Jacob and Setona (Aarness) Rostad. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Hager on November 14, 1948 at Spring Prairie Lutheran Church in Keyser. He preceded her in death in 1986.
She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Prairie du Sac, it's sewing club circle, Lydia Circle, and Pine Grove Homemakers.
She is survived by a sister, Helen Miller; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by an infant sister and infant brother, and a sister, Astrid Reinen.
A funeral service will be held at ST. JOHN'S EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, Prairie du Sac, at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 with Pastor Sally Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Prairie du Sac Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorials may be made to St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Prairie du Sac.
