Sandra "Sandy" Ray Caputo, age 52, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Thursday, May 28, 2015. She was born in Madison on May 26, 1963 to William and Shirley (Otteson) Jones. Sandy was a graduate of Lafollette High School, class of 1981. She graduated MATC with a Medical Office Mid-Management Degree and worked as a Medical Billing Coordinator for 31 years; retiring in March of 2014. Sandy married Joseph P. Caputo on October 20, 1984 at Lake Edge Lutheran Church in Madison. Sandy and Joe lived in McFarland for 19 years, before building their dream home in rural Spring Green. She enjoyed baking, knitting, spending time with family and trips up north to the cabin, and fishing with Joe.

She is survived by her husband, Joe; 2 children, her son, Ryan (Crystal) Caputo and their daughter Lilyana, her daughter, Christina (Drew Bulin) Caputo; her best buddy Otis; her parents, Bill and Shirley; a brother, Chris Jones, and her sister, Rhonda (Dave) Schoeffel ; nephew, Kevin and niece, Kara Schoeffel; her mother in-law, Avis Caputo; sister in-law, Mary Ann (David) Marx; 2 brother in-laws, Michael and Edward Caputo; she is further survived by other relatives and many friends.

A Celebration of Sandy's Life will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 6:00 pm at the Hooverson Funeral Home, 251 Water St., Sauk City, WI. A visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until the time of the service.

Sandy's family would like to thank everyone for their well wishes and to everyone who helped during Sandy's struggle with brain cancer. A memorial will be established in Sandy's name.
