Sandra R. Gasner, age 85, passed away on New Years Day, Jan. 1, 2026 at the Richland Center Hospital.  She was born in Illinois on Apr. 6, 1940 to Charles and Dawn (Scholze) Sanders.

Sandra worked for Kleins in Baraboo (now Flambeau) for 20 years.  She had a love of animals and decided to study the Vet. Tech program at MATC.  Sandra went on to work with animals, and even at a pork producer farm, this was something she greatly enjoyed until an injury forced her to ease up.  She spent the next few years working for the dry cleaners in Sauk City until she retired in 2005.

She enjoyed time spent with her family enjoyed baking and making holiday cookies.  Aside from her love of animals she enjoyed her birds, fishing, reading, gardening and looked forward to time spent at the Richland Center Senior Center.

She is survived by a daughter, Kathy; granddaughter, Koila Gasner; and great grandchildren, Kadyn and Kyana; siblings, Alice, Darlene, Janet, Elaine, Richard "Dick", Dan, and Fred.  Sandra is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Joe and a brother, Kenny.

A Celebration of Sandra's Life with inurnment will be held in the Spring.
