Sandra Ruth Pulsfus Guthrie passed away on October 11, 2014, at age 62. She battled cancer courageously, and died in North Shore Highland Park Hospital. Sandra was born on September 25. 1952, in Poynette, Wisconsin, to Leonard and Hildegard Pulsfus. She graduated from Sauk Prairie High School in 1970, and attended Layton School of Art in Milwaukee. She later became a realtor in the Chicago area. Sandra was a talented artist and gourmet cook.

Sandra is survived by her beloved husband, James Guthrie, with whom she spent 11 wonderful years. She is also survived by her mother, Hildegard, of Prairie du Sac; a sister, Sharon (James) of Breckenridge, Colorado; a brother, Dwight (Joy) of Sauk City; a brother, Daryl (Sue) of Prairie du Sac; and her precious dog, Tea Ching. She also leaves behind nieces and nephews Stephanie Buzzell (Jason Holmes), David (Kara) Pulsfus, Maddie (Shawn) Devitt, Jacquelyn (Spencer) Merryfield, Jasmine Pulsfus and Darrin Pulsfus. She was dearly loved by family and friends, and will be greatly missed.

A funeral service will be held at SAUK PRAIRIE EVANGELICAL FREE CHURCH, 1375 Lincoln Ave., Prairie du Sac, at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 18, 2014. A visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in the Prairie du Sac Cemetery.
