Obituary

Sandra Lins, 78, passed away peacefully on Saturday, after a quick battle with cancer. She was born as the eldest of seven daughters to Vivian and Bernard Killerlain and grew up embracing the joys and challenges of a big family.

On July 22, 1967, Sandra married the love of her life, Ron Lins. Together, they built a life rooted in love, hard work, and family, moving to their cherished hog and grain farm located in Prairie du Sac in 1970. Sandra and Ron raised three wonderful children—Pam, Barb, and Tim—on their farm, creating a home filled with laughter and endless memories.

Sandra's heart was always full of love for her family, and her favorite time of year was Christmas. She made this holiday magical, ensuring the tree was overflowing with presents and everyone had their favorite baked treats. Decorating sugar cookies with her grandchildren remains a treasured tradition for her family.

A lover of live music, Sandra especially enjoyed attending Tony Rocker shows, where she formed many of her favorite memories and friendships. Her zest for life extended to her adventures with Ron, including their vacations and trips to Ho-Chunk Casino, which they both greatly enjoyed.

Sandra is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Ron; her children, Pam (Jeff), Barb, and Tim; her five grandchildren; her six great-grandchildren; and her six sisters; Lavonne Jordan, Judy Murray, Peggy Hanks, Deborah Poast, Victoria Dahlk, and Connie Hagen. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vivian and Bernard.

Sandra's sassy attitude, generosity, and love left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Her family and friends will forever cherish the beautiful memories she created and the joy she brought to their lives.

Respecting Sandy's wishes, a private funeral for just immediate family will be held. Burial will be in the Sauk Prairie Cemetery.

Ron and the family want to give a special thank you to Kevin, Mary and Katie from Agrace for providing such good care. They kept her comfortable during her final weeks at home.

Memorials may be given in Sandy's name to Agrace Hospice Care.
