Sara Jo Kippley, age 25, passed away at University Hospital in Madison on May 10, 2018.  She was born at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison on Oct. 27, 1992 to Scott J. and Patti A. (Nelson) Kippley.  Sara attended Sauk Prairie Schools and enjoyed life on the farm in Roxbury.  Sara loved being outdoors, music, her family and her caregivers.  She was a member of St. Norbert's Catholic Church in Roxbury.

Sara is survived by her parents, Scott and Patti Kippley; her sister, Jennifer (Zach) Fiene of Prairie du Sac; her paternal grandmother, Lucy Kippley of Roxbury, and maternal grandparents, Robert and Almay Nelson of Prairie du Sac.  She is further survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Virgil Kippley and her uncle Dennis Ballweg.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at St. Norbert's Catholic Church, Roxbury.  A visitation will be held on Monday, May 14, 2018 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Hooverson Funeral Home, 251 Water St., Sauk City; and the morning of the mass from 10:00 am until 10:45 am at the funeral home.  Interment will be held in St. Norbert's Cemetery, Roxbury.

Sara's family would like to express their gratitude for all of Sara's caregivers, especially Judy, Kathy, Robyn and Sue; and her school bus driver Shirlee.
