Scott A. Uttech, age 50, passed away at University Hospital in Madison on Tues., Aug. 1, 2017. He was born Oct. 9, 1966 to Dick and Shirley (Lehman) Uttech. Scott graduated from Wisconsin School for the Visually Impaired in Janesville in 1987. He worked for almost 20 years at Ace Sauk Prairie and for V.A.R.C. in Reedsburg. Scott participated in Sauk Prairie Special Olympics for many years and has won many trophies for his bowling talent. He was known for his sense of humor and his ability to joke with friends; those that met Scott, never forgot him. Scott loved cats, spending time with friends, family, and his late grandparents. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Prairie du Sac.

Scott is survived by his parents, Dick and Shirley Uttech; a brother, Michael (Teri) Uttech; 2 nephews, Alec and Mitchell; many uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Aug. 5, 2017 at St. John's Lutheran Church, 100 Oak St., Prairie du Sac. A visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the time of service.

Scott's family would like to thank the Sauk Prairie Hospital Staff, University Hospitals Staff, Med Flight, Sauk Prairie E.M.S., and the many healthcare professionals who have helped him over the years.
