Sharal Rae Steuber, age 90, of Prairie du Sac passed away at Maplewood of Sauk Prairie on Oct. 6, 2025.  She was born on March 13, 1935 to the late William and Marie (Lord) Kamensky.  She grew up in Baraboo; graduating in 1953 from Baraboo High School.  Sharal met Theron "Tuffy" Steuber while roller-skating at the Baraboo Roller Rink; they later married Sept. 2, 1955.

Sharal held many jobs over the years while also being a farm wife and mother to their son Brian.  She worked over 30 years in different secretarial positions with Flambeau Plastics, attorney Robert Curtin and finally Marquardt, Carlson, Koeck, Kirk and Graves.  Sharal was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.  She attended all of her grandchildren's home sporting events getting to know and cheer on their friends as well.

Sharal's love of fishing ran deep starting with her father when she was young fishing on the Baraboo River and later with her husband.  They spent many hours in their boat on many of the local lakes.  She loved games and spent a lot of her time playing Farkle and looked forward to her weekly card games playing euchre with all of her friends.

Sharal is survived by her son, Brian (Kimberly); grandsons, Jacob and Travis (Katelyn); grandchildren, Nora and Leo; she is further survived by nieces, nephews' other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Theron; sister, Phyllis (Al) Rockhill; brother and sisters in-law, Ralph (Doris) Steuber, Edsel (Caroline) Steuber, Merton (Shirley) Moely, Al Rockhill.

A funeral service for Sharal will be held at 11:00 am on Oct. 14th, 2025 at the First United Church of Christ, 504 Washington Ave., Sauk City.  A visitation will be held from 9:30 am until the time of service.  Interment will be held in the Sauk Prairie Cemetery.

Sharal was a very giving person who was loved by her family and will be missed by all.
